The Village Trip: Bringing it All Back Home to Washington Square
The Village Trip’s signature event, this free concert in Washington Square Park anchors the festival’s final weekend. This year, it will bring the soulful sounds of Kennedy Administration, whose sonic tapestry weaves together jazz, R&B, hip-hop, and pop. Also on the bill: Dali Rose.
Kennedy Adminstration

The band was born in New York – just a couple of hundred yards away at the Groove Bar on MacDougal Street, where Ms. Kennedy was offered a residency. She needed a keyboard player and Czech-born Ondre J happened to be available. Alchemy! The band’s residency lasted six years. Since then, the group has toured the world, opened for Elton John, and created amazing music. Their performance at The Village Trip marks the release of their third album, Humanity.
