On Wednesday, July 27th at 6pm Head to Washington Square Park Garibaldi Plaza to catch BETTY in Concert, a WSPC Community Arts Grantee. Rise at the Arch! Is a musical celebration of the progressive spirit of Washington Square Park that draws women to unleash their creative, collective might as a force for change. BETTY and Friends will perform a concert of joy and justice in the spirit of Emma Goldman, who wrote in 1931 when told that her dancing at a rally was unbecoming for an activist working for social change, “If I can’t dance, I don’t want to be part of your revolution.”
