– October 15 2016

squirrel-smallAt this time of year, it isn’t too hard to find acorns that have fallen from the park’s Oak trees. Join Washington Square Park Gardener Kaslin Daniels at this program where you’ll learn more about this important nut, plant your own acorn and decorate a plant marker. Participants will take home their potted acorn. Kids should bring an adult helper, who must be present throughout the program. Recommended ages: 5-12.

Saturday, October 15
Meet: In the Park’s Northwest Corner at 10:00 AM (the program lasts about an hour)
This program is free, but RSVP’s are required.
