Films on the Green: Where Do We Go Now?
Films on the Green, the free outdoor film festival produced by the Cultural Services of the French Embassy, FACE Foundation and the City of New York Parks & Recreation, is back this summer! First on the schedule is Where Do We Go Now (Et maintenant, on va où)?
Where Do We Go Now? tells the story of a remote, isolated unnamed Lebanese village inhabited by both Muslims and Christians. The village is surrounded by landmines and only accessible by a small bridge. As civil strife engulfs the country, the women in the village try, by various means and with varying success, to keep their men in the dark.
