Wrap up your holiday season and say goodbye to your tree at Mulchfest. Join NYC Parks and the New York City Department of Sanitation in the NYC holiday tradition of recycling your Christmas tree!

You can drop your tree anytime from December 26 to January 9th at Washington Square Park on the west side of the Arch. The Park serves as a chip site again this year. You can bring home your own free mulch (bring your own bag!) on two Saturdays:

10:00am – 2:00pm

Please remember to remove all lights, ornaments, and netting before bringing the tree to a Mulchfest site.
