Join the Washington Square Park Conservancy for Animation Day with NYC Parks & Recreation Playground Associate Gabriel.

Your child can create their own animated art projects while learning the principles of animation. Projects include a thaumatrope (spinning disk), a flip book, and a kinescope.

• Wednesday, August 26th
• Large Playground in Washington Square Park
• Drop in for whichever projects you’d like. No reservations needed.
• Each project takes approximately half an hour to an hour.
