Thank you for your interest in running the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon with Team Washington Square Park Conservancy! We are excited to build a team of runners who are passionate about supporting our work to enhance and preserve Washington Square Park as a vibrant and iconic public space.

As a Team Washington Square Park Conservancy athlete, you receive:

  • Guaranteed entry into the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon
  • Washington Square Park Conservancy merch (e.g., branded shirt, hat, water bottle)
  • Recognition in the Conservancy’s communications, including its social media channels and email newsletter
  • Invitation to connect with Conservancy staff and volunteers through programmatic offerings
  • Individualized support for fundraising

Team Washington Square Park Conservancy athletes must:

  • Commit to raising a minimum of $6,000 by November 1, 2026. 50% of their commitment must be raised by June 30, 2026 to receive official race registration.
  • Cover their own marathon registration expenses (approx. $180) and complete both team registration and race registration before all relevant deadlines.
